awwwww. that's pretty confusing! But it's normal for them to feel bad. I don't think they'll kill you or something but they will really feel bad. I know the feeling LOL. are they like gonna kick you out of the team if you won't be at the presentation day? if they won't, just do the task they will give you fast enough to show them that you really wanna go but you just really can't. And as you said, going to brisbane is a once in a student life experience so.. you should be there especially if you'll be picked. Why say no to a very good opportunity? And the teacher-in-charge won't be mad.. just give a nice and proper explanation to make him(or her) agree with your decision :] About riley, LOL we're so the same. HAHAHAHAHA. i like hitting my friends too but most of my friends hit harder than i do. LOL. So expect more hitting! lol. just kiddin' ;) If she's mad, she's probably gonna stop hitting you until she stops being mad. hahahaa. but good luck anyways ! and tell me about whatever's gonna happen to u and riley and the team :DD

anyway, we had our first day of long test today! TRIGONOMETRY WAS SO HARD SERIOUSLY. I answered some but i'm not sure if all of the answers are right. i suck in math and trigo! LOL i said that before, if u still remember. HAHHA. Social studies was a bit easy but i 'm sure i won't get a 95 mark(like before). I wasn't able to study properly so.. i wasn't sure about some questions. English was okay but i wasn't sure about the essay part :D lol the first and third was okay but the second one, i left it blank! LOL! i already have a -5! CVE was okay lols. The first part was about saint benedict and i didn't know anything about him. lols. i know some but i left like 9 items blank. LOL. and there was a true or false. it's quite easy when you think about it but it wasn't because it sounded like everything was a true lols. or maybe i just didn't study? HAHHA. i lost my notebook... that's why :)) LOL. there were tagalog words there and we have a korean classmate who doesn't understand tagalog. i asked her if she was able to answer everything.. she said she did.. but she just wrote TRUE in nos 1-10 and false in nos 11-20 :)) HAHHA.

I THINK I'M GOING TO BRISBANE!!!

Lynette kinda found out about me probably going for the trip and she just said that since i cant be there for the presentation then I should do most or whole research. She looked and sounded pretty mild when i told her...

Then i told her that i spent the whole evening and night yesterday worrying and she gave me her 'you-are-so-weird-i-dont-understand-you' look and then she said in a very level tone, "I am very pissed off at you"

I hope she doesnt mean that.
We shared a pack of chips on the way to the interchange and she didnt ignore me or anything so.... yeah...

I think it'll be harder to tell Riley...
Because she likes to pinch me/flick me/hit me alot so I'm scared of her reaction...

OMG!!!!

I THINK I MIGHT BE ABLE TO GO TO BRISBANE!!!!
THERE'S A FINANCIAL AID FOR LOWER INCOME FAMILIES!!!!

I just have one other problem...
I dont dare to tell my NJRC (National Junior Robotics Competition) group mates...
They might kill me...

You see...
The problem is,
The Brisbane trip is in the September holidays. So is the competition.
I think i will be yelled at, slaughtered, then ignored.
I only realised that it was at the same time after i went to meet to the teacher-in-charge and got the forms for the trip...
The teacher will hate me after i put her through all the trouble of getting me the forms and everything if i say i wish to drop out...
I dont wanna drop out because i REALLY REALLY want to go...

If I go, I will be jeoparding my friendship with my teammates and maybe the entire CCA including the teachers in charge...

If i dont, i will greatly annoy the teacher in charge for the trip... and i will be forever blacklisted in her eyes. I will also regret this for the rest of my life because its a once in a school life opportunity...

There's still a selection test because not everyone can go... I hope I get selected to go but at the same time i am hoping that she doesnt pick me...

I feel so sad and confused what should i do?

PEP RALLY

we had our pep rally today. LOL. it was totally boring and i had a major headache! lols. when i walk.. my knees shake HAHHA. weirdo :[

LOL. SOO.. Since it's our pep rally, i wore red. lol. it's not actually red.. it's more like maroon. :]] it was my sister's shirt hahah. :) When i woke up.. it was so cold.. i couldn't even take a bath properly because i was shaking like crazy.. i didn't like to use hot water so.. LOL.

When i went to school.. i went to our gazebo. [it's not ours but we stay there everytime :)] i talked to my friends and blah blah... before i knew it, it's time for assembly. We had our new formation and our new place is really hot.. As i said, it was really hot and i complained million of times HAHA. After the assembly, we had a double period chem class. it was boring as usual but i tried to listen because we have our exams tomorrow :\ and err, we talked about atoms and stuff hahha. really boring.

After chem class, we had filipino.. our filipino tecaher is our adviser too and she was mad at us because we're too noisy.. she was discussing about our project and she suddenly stopped and didn't continue discussing things lol. so we have to figure out what to do in our project. lols. we had recess after. hahha. marian and janel are friends again. :)

After recess, we had geom. it was okay.. we just reviewed and lol my classmates were noisy and they were picking on our teacher and the teacher started talking about demons and she talked about demons non-stop and we didn't have enough time to discuss more. We had english after.. emman went to the clinic because he doesn't want to attend the class because our teacher is always mad at him. lol. he was out for like more than an hour lols (he went out before geom class ended) The teacher asked me where he went and i said he went to the clinic. HAHHA. Emman went back after english... he said that he went to the clinic and said he has LBM and the nurses gave him 2 tablets of medicine... i asked him if he really did take the medicine.. he said no. lol he pretended drinking it and like inserted the medicine inside his shirt. lol. We had a new topic in trigo.. lol. it's easier than the last topic. HAHHA. blah blah.

We had lunch after.. and went to the gym.. we were all together and my head started to ache. it was really hot and it was soooo irritating because they want everyone to compress.. because a lot of students can't sit on the bleachers. HAHHA. and err, we cheered. LOL. it was boring.. we just watched the athletes walk around the gym HAHHA. and we also watched the cheer dancers. LOL. blah blah

I am supposed to go home at 5.30 today but because of my headache.. i didn't. my school bus arrived around 4.. we waited for so long, really. Before the bus arrived, i talked to kim, cham, ina and barbie. i wanted to text the bus driver and ask what time he'll arrive.. I asked cham.. if she has load. and she became mad at me. Well, i know that she lost her phone and she feels bad a bout it until now.. BUT i was just joking and she became mad. :[ i said sorry but she didn't look at me at all.. instead, she went inside the school with janel. HAHHA,. bad ending huh? anyway, i hope she'll talk to me tomorrow :|

LOL. i don't think we have limocabs here in the philippines :[ lols. okay. lame country =.='' LOL i envy you coz u have chinese class! hahha. i wanna study chinese BIG TIME. lols. what was the teacher's reaction when he/she(lol) saw u sleeping? hahha. that's pretty normal here. HAHHA. but i don't actually sleep in class everyday. just sometimes ;) HHAHHA. tell you what, i sit infront of the teacher's table too! LOL

LOLs well i just remembered what my friend RiLeY said about me today.

I was just sitting there... Talking to Clare... Then she tells me something about how i have to be the character that likes chicken rice so much until her friends advice her to try ohter, healthier choices of food. This is for a presentation thingie for Home Econs...

Well then I turned and wondered out aloud about why i always have to be the victims of plays and stuff. Like for drama i'm always the kid or victim when we have to act.

She said I look very gullible!!!! And that I often get that innocent look!!!
Bleah her.

I guess I know about the gullible and blur look... Everyone is always saying that about me....

BUT the INNOCENT part really THREW ME OFF.

I sort of stared back at her in shock and disbelief... then she said I was wearing the innocent look again!!!! Then she asked Clare whether she agreed with her then Clare said YES!!!!

my lovely boring day

HEY YOS!

i had a boring day today.
I shall describe it.

For starters, i dont like Tuesdays.

I particularly didnt like today.

This morning, I went up the bus, found out my card had no money. So naturally i had to pay in coins. Then i realised that i didnt have any money in my wallet so i had to get off the bus and walk all the way back home to go get cash. Then by then if i took bus i would have been late for school. So i took a cab. Just so happens that the cab that came was a LimoCab. SO EXPENSIVE.

I wasnt late.

The lessons are boring. First we have double period drama. Which is fun. Then we have one period of Chinese. Today for Chinese we had ting xie(chinese spelling). I didnt learn all the words and we also had two sentences that we have to memorise. ANYWAY. I was supposed to copy from my shoulder partner Cheryl. She's super cool at chinese. She doesnt have to learn ting xie but she still can get full marks. So i copy from her. Sounds like a perfect plan?

It was. Until Cheryl suddenly put her arm in the way and blocked me. I couldnt see her book...
So i didnt copy. Then after the ting xie, I told her her arm was blocking my view of her book then she said it was a habit and she tended to write like that. Then he said that she actually wanted to tell me before the ting xie that if she was blocking me i should kick her or something to tell her.

Ah well. My fault. (:

Anyway, then there's my one period recess. Not very nice food in the canteen on Tuesdays...

Okay then after recess, there's double period math. And as i mentioned before, my maths teacher totally sucks. I snuck a book under my desk and i was reading right there. And let me tell you. My seat is right in front of the teacher's table!!!!

She's so...

so anyways, then i got sleepy.
so when she went off to teach some poor classmate of mine how to do the stupid quadratic graph, I told Cheryl to wake me when the teacher came back and then i put my head on the table and went to sleep. When i got up, the teacher was coming and Cheryl had gone off to talk to Emelyn. Hai...

Then there was one period of science which was so BORING because i was still sleepy and then we had Literature for two periods which was okay because the teacher likes picing on Cheryl and its funny!

Okay then we had English for the last lesson. Not very eventful.Quite boring.

Okay so all in all, its a boring day.

I end school early at 1.40pm BUT... there's a catch. Most people have club activities today so i guess thats why we end classes earlier. That's why i hate Tuesdays. LIke, we end early but i still cant go home:(

this brings me to why i love Thursdays. lots of people have club activities today and its an early day. Whats the difference?
The difference is....
MY CLUB DOESNT HAVE ACTIVITIES!!!

so i can go home and sleep. (:

What a long post! I've been at this for about half an hour...

lol. my friend, cassia will go to S.H.E's concert on Friday and she asked me if i want to give them a letter .. so of course, i agreed. She said that they always read handwritten letters first so cassia wrote it for me. :) HAHA. thanks cassia! ily :* Those pictures are my letter for them :) AND CASSIA'S HANDWRITING IS REALLY GOOD! I envy everyone in indonesia because they can see S.H.E perform. lol. just like in singapore! hahha YOU DENISE can watch S.H.E whenever they go there! LOL. i hope i don't live in the philippines! i prefer living in taiwan LOL (of course) or maybe in singapore! considering singapore's high economy and.. stuff. HAHHA. lol and about the hostage thing that singapore hasn't encountered for like more than 10 years! LOL. i just can't believe it. :))

Anyway, about my day. LOL. hmm.. the 3rd year students were asked to stay after the assembly(we have assembly everyday. it sucks right?) and err, blah blah. lol. hmm. we didn't have our filipino class because our adviser told us about what we should do tomorrow and stuff like that. HAHAH. We had a 2-period chem class. lol. it was seriously boring. haha. AS ALWAYS. i really don't like our teacher.. she's good but.. sometimes she's irritating and her handwriting is really small! HAHA. and she was mad at me because i talked too much. LOL. blabberbot :)) and.. BLAH BLAH.

In english class, we passed something about our grades and stuff. my seat mate didn't pass anything so our teacher was so mad at him :D my seatmate was pissed and he wanted to like hit him or something.. he also drew our teacher. it was soo funny. LOL. our english teacher also warned me because i was so noisy HAHHA.

LUNCH: I wanted to save money because we want to buy a gift for blossom. SO i bought a ham and cheese sandwich. it's only 35 pesos sooo... i thought it's a good start LOL. but alique and i talked about something and i decided to buy chocolate(no connection,yes. lol.) LOL. we bought two 3 musketeers LOL. i spent 115 the whole day :)) anyway, i'll start again tomorrow :DD I PROMISE lol.

We had our PE class after lunch.. i haven't finished my chocolate when we arrived at the gym. lols. We went straight to the restroom and i asked ana(my classmate) to keep the chocolate first. I changed my uniform blah blah. and we went to the sports complex. I asked ana to give me the chocolate and i asked ju won(my korean classmate) to tell me the korean word for delicious. LOl. she said it's mashta LOl. i don't know how to spell it. LOL. yea, sorry ^^ soo.. while eating teh chocolate.. i was like shouting the korean word and my classmates laughed at me. :)) LOL. and i went to the drinking fountain with ju won and LOL drank :)) When we were about to go back to our classmates.. Bashung's(my friend) brother called me and shouted 'PANGET!" which is ugly in english HAHHA. blah blah. Soo.. we went up to the dance studio and.. blah blah. WE DANCED LOL.

haha yea. KHLAREN (or neon) here. LOL. i'm 14 years old. i'm from the philippines.. i'm NOT as smart as denise but i talk as much as she does. hahha. i'm from a coed school (is that how you call it?lol. whatever.) i think the school is okay but it's kinda overpopulated now. LOL. and koreans invaded the school :D i'm not complaining because i have some good friends who are korean LOL. i'm a third year student LOL. and err, i write stories? HAHA! my math teacher sucks too! i mean, she's pretty good BUT she's too ... i don't know how to describe but my classmates make fun of her everytime so like no one is listening anymore. Well, i listen sometimes BUT not always. D: i'll probably fail my math test on thursday(or friday) HAHA. good luck me :(

LOL. LK she's sooo good! But you're not bad either! 20.5 is good! If i'll take a test, i might get err, 12? LOL! or maybe 15. lols. i'm not really good in math. LOL. i suck, actually. Well, sometimes i'm good but most of the time i suck. My brain's not working everytime i see numbers. I like prefer memorizing stuff. ohhhh so stale news! we got a math test on congruence and similarity back....
my teacher(who sucks) said that on the whole, our level didnt do very well so she was shocked that our class did pretty well(more or less)... oh well... seeing that we're only the third class...

ANNNNNYYWAAAYYYY, so one of my best friend LK, shes like, excellent at math so everyone sort of expected her to do very well, which she did...

she got 24.5 out of 25...

anyhows im always striving to beat her but i never win... i got 20.5...

the only math test i beat her in was the algebra one when she was careless and lost i think half a mark while i got full marks...

LOL! it took me like 2 hours to edit this blog(i mean the whole template and stuff) . It's really hard, seriously. LOL! okay, so.. err, how was your day denise? what did you do today? idk if i can go online later tonight because my sister might use the computer. or maybe then i will study. I tried to study a while ago but nothing entered my mind. So instead of studying, i sung shuo ni ai wo by S.H.E ! lols. and also wu yue tian. hahaha. I was so sleepy while studying but when i started singing, i was like so hyper and i can't even stop myself from singing. hmm.. i don't want to go to school tomorrow!~ still not ready. i feel like slacking the whole day tomorrow but i can't since i have school. stupid school! =.= hmmm. what else? i'm reading 'the notebook' .. it's really good. i watched the movie already but reading it is much much better :) lol. i hope my friend can let me borrow her twilight book because i'm already excited :)) <33

all about ME!

HEY YO!

this column is about ME! dont like it? buzz off!

okay, anyway, i'm a fourteen year old from singapore. I attend a convent school where lots of stuff are catholic and its ALL GIRLS. i kind of like it because its (i think) a pretty good school and we have an air-conditioned hall and an indoor sports hall thats still under construction. the school just went through renovation so its nice and new(:

im in Secondary two-three and proud of it! i have awesome friends in and out of class! (out of class, e.g. neon!) hahas...

shall i write about how i look??

I'm short(very) and am almost on the overweight scale... i have rebonded shoulder length hair that looks black in darker lights and dark brown with slightly lighter highlights(dunnno how else to describe) in bright light. FYI, i didnt dye it. i was born like that. I have dark brown eyes(typical asian) and glasses with blue frames. I think i look nerdy:p

I LOVE ARRON YAN!!!!! I WOULD LOVE TO LIVE IN TAIWAN TOO!!!!

AND I'm NOT SMART!!! I always try my very best to avoid studying... and the result of that is that i failed my humanities(history and geography), nearly the whole of last year... i failed my math too but now i have tuition so thats better now. i always do better in languages(english and chinese) because you dont really have to study for them. Because of all my chinese shows, my chinese grade is going up but my english is pretty much stationary. because normally to improve my languages i read english books and wtch chinese shows... lately ive been having trouble with science too....*sigh*
